Enjoy performances of art song by DFW area university and  high school students accompanied on piano by Dallas favorite musical coach and accompanist, Mr. Julian Reed.

DETAILS

  • St Paul's E&R United Church of Christ is located at 6464 East Lovers Lane at Fisher Road in Dallas.
  • The Fall Student Liederabend begins at 2PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018, in the church sanctuary.
  • The accompanist, Julian Reed, will be available before the Liederabend to rehearse.
  • Please call or text Julian about a rehearsal time on November 4 between 12:30 and 1:45PM. 214-406-8396 - Leave you name and say that you are singing in the Fall Student Liederabend.
  • Please bring clean copies of your music for the accompanist hole punched in a binder with clear page turns. 
  • A maximum of one art song may be performed. 
  • All singers are encouraged to memorize their music, but music may be used if necessary.
  • All performers must be at St Paul's E&R United Church of Christ no later than 12:30 PM.
  • Printed copies of the performance schedule will be available at the event.
  • Donations for the accompanist are encouraged.

Join Voces Intimae: The art of Song in sharing your favorite art songs in a relaxed and intimate setting. Participants must register to sing in the Fall Student Liederabend by sending the information below to:

Applications are due on Friday, October 26, 2018.

There is a limit on how many may participate. Only art song literature will be accepted. Songs may be in any language and each participant may perform one song. Accompanist Julian Reed will be provided for singers, however, singers may bring their own pianist if they wish. The Fall Student Liederabend is a free event open to the public. There is no fee to apply.
